Arlo arrived in March 31st, and Athena didn’t meet him until the next day, which was April 1st.
This photo was taken within 10 minutes of them meeting, it was snapped on my phone but to me it is perfection… the complete acceptance from Athena of this tiny little being that for months she had been resting her head on when he was still just a bump.
And because I want to remember this lovely stage forever I can’t resist cheating with a second photo, my tiny little shrimp and his chunk of a big sister.
