[ha ha, I haven’t really ‘painted’ my face. I am not 4 years old /attending a festival, I just needed a title for ‘face’ posts]

This is my face from a day last week, I was only going to work, so nothing fancy but I wasn’t starting till later in the day so I veered away from my normal face and came up with this. The purple mac shadow was applied with a slanted liner brush and winged out slightly, and kept its place all day because of the creaseless cream shadow base (love that stuff!) My skin had really been suffering from cold weather in Germany, skanky a/c on planes, and me generally not looking after it! (didn’t take moisturiser on holiday! tut tut!) So I have been avoiding using foundations much recently, and making do with powder just to even my skin tone out (I have daftly rosy cheeks!) but it does mean you can see my freckles (the little I have when i’m not tanned!) which isn’t a bad thing really!

Really do need to get some sleep now, as it is 1am and I am working at 6.45am sunday morning, joyous! Hopefully a trip to the cinema early evening if Sam can still walk after his american football practise. Anyone seen Woman in Black yet? worth a watch?

  1. I love this, so natural yet enough to notice it! I think I need to invest in your mascara, it looks amazing! xx p.s can’t believe how early you had to work…on a sunday!!!

  2. you look very pretty with a painted face 🙂 Natural and gorgeous! Urgh, who works at that time on a Sunday? Or ever? I love my 2-9 hours!

I haven’t seen Woman in Black yet. I am a right wuss, and even the trailer scared me sh**less. We opted for Extremely Loud and Incredible Close instead. It was good!

I hope you’re recovered from your trip

  3. You look so gorgeous. So natural and beautiful and elf-y (I have a thing for elves… just sayin’! :P) I tried to do the little plaits thing with my hair once (because I 99% wear it with a bit up like that and I wanted to do something exciting with it) but I fail 🙁 xxx
