Win a Lumie BodyClock worth £99! [ended]

It’s that time of year where everyone is being enthusiastic about their resolutions, be that to eat better, exercise more or get more sleep. I have decided not to make any solid resolutions this year so that I can’t be annoyed at myself when I don’t achieve them, but what I DO want to do more of this year is sleep. Finally Arlo has more or less cracked sleeping through the night, so my aim is to try and recoup some of sleep I’ve missed over the last two years! Since October I have been using the Lumie Bodyclock Active to help me drift off to sleep and wake up again in the morning in a relaxed and gradual way rather than being blared awake by a harsh alarm! It’s working wonders and I do feel so much less grumpy in the mornings too! I have one to giveaway to someone too, to help them start the day off right!

  1. I would never make a resolution to give up something, eg. chocolate. or alcohol. I don’t eat a lot of chocolate and I hardly ever drink so to say I would give up either of them wouldn’t be realistic 🙂 x

  2. I would never make a resolution to give something up, much better to just get on and do it with those sort of things.

  3. I wouldn’t want to give up everything ever as I don’t think a vice is a bad thing if you enjoy it- coffee, wine, chocolate

  4. I would never promise to start jogging, to give up tea or chocolate. I never start resolutions because I know I’ll never finish them!

  5. I would never make the new years resolution to give up chocolate – not even for a day. I love chocolate so much haha

  6. To be honest I NEVER make any new year’s resolution as I don’t believe in them..but if I did I would never the resolution to lose weight or be healthy..as I am healthy already

  7. I’d never make a resolution to give up something that I enjoyed – I could never give up chocolate or cake lol

  8. give up alcohol ! – I gave up smoking five years ago have gone on diet so a glass of vino is all I have left as a vice

  9. I could never make a resolution to give up my coffee – I’m a complete grouch without it! Great giveaway!

  10. I would never make a resolution in general as I never keep to them. I believe what will be will be and live life to the full and spontaneity

  11. Id never say I was giving up drinking, never ever ever

I could never Imagine not drinking again, especially over Christmas and the new year

  12. I would never make a resolution to us out chocolate. Although I want to loose weight I don’t think that it is realistic to cut out something completely as it makes you crave it, you just need to make sure everything is in moderation

  13. I would never make a resolution that’s too difficult to actually stick to. So rather than “Lose 2 stone”, I have resolved to eat more vegetables, eat less sugar, drink more water and exercise more. I can do all of those things, and it doesn’t feel so restrictive but without beating myself up if I don’t lose 2 stone, because I will still have made a good start at improving my overall health, if that makes sense 🙂

  14. I never make a new year resolution to give anything up, I do make them to cut down on things – seems easier and more likely.

  15. mine is to give up biscuits, there such a guilty pleasure i could literally eat them till there popping out of my ears haha xx

  16. I would never make a resolution to do something every day e.g. take a picture, write a gratitude statement etc. It’s just not practical and is a sure-fire way for me to fail in less than a week!

  17. I don’t know about resolutions really, I make at least one every time but I don’t like the pressure! I would never make one that would make my son feel let down….

    Pinned on Pinterest @lemoncakeuk 🙂

  18. I would never make a resolution to give something u, like sweets, chocolate or alcohol. I know I would never succeed

  19. I wud never make a resolution of breaking my resolutions. I believe it is a game of will power. If u have the will, u will be able to achieve it come what may. If i knew i cunt achieve it…i wudnt make such a resolution.

  20. NEVER would I make a resolution to give up Prosecco, bacon or The Walking Dead. To never comment again about toilet rolls left empty, on the rare occasions put on the holder – put the wrong way round!…or the empty cardboard tubes, left on the toilet bin!! Neither would I make a resolution to not comment on all the recycling that makes it onto the worksurface just one foot away from the giant re-cycling bins marked, Paper, Bottles and Cans!!!

  21. I will never break my last Resolution that was ‘never make any more Resolutions…ever again’ I just can never stick to them, my will power is too weak – the force is not strong in this one 😉 x

  22. To eat completely healthy I’m sorry but on my birthday i really want to eat some birthday cake and i love ice cream at the beach and what’s Christmas without extra chocolate… i know it’s bad but i could never say no!

  23. I would never make a resolution to ‘Quit’ something, If you want to give uo whatever it is you want to give up, you should just do it and not wait until the New year!

  24. Love my food to much to EVER diet plus it’s good for the kids to see mama bear eating healthy foods like them

  25. I would never make a resolution to give up coffee. I totally get that I’m addicted, but it’s an addiction I’m okay with! I would make a resolution to stop caffeine after 2pm, but as long as I get my 2-3 cups of coffee in the a.m., I’ll be okay!

  26. I would never make a resolution to stop cooking from scratch – it’s so much healthier and easier given family allergies.

  27. I so agree with Lorraine Stone, I couldn’t give up reading books. That would just be crazy. I’ve given up chocolate and sweets for periods of time, but don’t fancy that right now either, far too much left to eat after Christmas.

  28. Give up caffeine! No way! I’ve given up a lot over the years, smoking, cut down on alcohol, adopted a healthier lifestyle but no on is taking away my cups of tea!

  29. Any resolution that involves giving up a particular food. I’d just crave it and end up eating more than before

  30. Like a lot of other people I would never make a New Years Resolution to give up chocolate, my only vice – honest

  31. Give up chocolate. No way, cos I would fail on the first day. when I’m fed up, sad, angry or even feeling great I reach for the chocolate. total chocoholic. 🙂

  32. I would never give up crisps, they are my fave. I could replace all meals with crisps and I would be happy as larry

  33. If I’m honest, I’d never make any resolution that I’m not confident I could keep as the guilt would be horrid, knowing that I’d failed.

  34. To sit on my bum and do nothing! I’m the type of person that needs to always be doing something or taking up some new hobby!

  35. I would never make a resolution to find a new hobby. I have a few, some of which are time consuming, and don’t find enough time for some of them anyway

  36. Going to the gym – never been in one and the thought fills me with horror! I’m not against them at all and can see why others would want to be members, but it’s not for me.
    And that’s why I’m fat.

  37. I would never make a resolution to give up alcohol or stop smoking – quite simply because i don’t drink alcohol and I don’t smoke!

  38. I would not make unrealistic resolutions, such as running a marathon or doing the Ironman challenge, as I know I’ll not be able to keep them.

  39. I would never give up the commitment I have to quitting smoking 🙂 Quit 3 years ago, never felt so good with myself <3

  40. I would never make the resolution to stop giving myself yearly reading challenges. I love to read and believe that reading really broadens your mind, your knowledge and your outlook on life.

  41. I never say never! If you’d have asked me if I’d ever give up wine I’d have laughed so hard but amazingly I have!

  42. I would never give up going to bed late. On the rare occasion I go to bed early, I generally am a night owl.

  43. i would never make one to try and achieve something impossible or realistic enough for me to achieve such as to run a huge marathon or give up eating meat or chocolate
