Me and Mine in August 2018

Despite spending the vast majority of the month together we’ve not managed to take a sensible family photo this month on any of our many days out and weekends away, ce la vie! So I give you two selfies, one from our day out at Chessington and one at The Big Feastival, and also a photo of us all wearing masks at London Zoo. I think these pictures sum our month of fun pretty well to…

The Big Feastival 2018

The Big Feastival is a family-friendly, food orientated festival that is held each year on Alex James’ farm. He used to be the bassist in Blur so knows his music but is now apparently an enthusiastic cheese maker and farmer, and has created and cultivated an amazing weekend! The Big Feastival is held on the August bank holiday in the Cotswolds, and this year we were invited along for the weekend, and I’m so glad…

10 reasons to visit ZSL London Zoo

ZSL London Zoo has got to be one of the most fun days out we’ve had this year, there is so much to see and do and I think people of all ages would be entertained! Brighton Sealife Centre is the oldest aquarium in the world still operating, and there is a lot…

Everyday Us – ‘Helping’ with the Laundry

Both children, but Arlo especially, love to ‘help’ me with the washing. It’s got to the point where I have to double and triple check what’s in the machine before I put a wash on as often the odd discarded sock or pair of PJ bottoms will end up in there – either that are already clean or are completely the wrong colour and liable to turn a whole set of Athena’s white polo shirts…
