trespass snow pants
Although I didn’t go snowboarding with Sam whilst we were away I still needed a pair of warm, waterproof trousers to play about in the snow in, and after seeing how much fun people were having on the slopes I’m going to try a ski lesson this year and see how I like it so they’ll be getting a lot more use out of them I hope!

The Kirsten Snow Pants are lined and perfect for both messing about in the snow and for more serious snow sports as they have elasticated cuffs with a popper to keep them secure around the ankle of your ski or snowboard boots. One lower leg pocket for slope maps or sneaky snacks along with side and back pockets all secured with sturdy zips or poppers

These snow pants are waterproof to 5000mm and windproof too. It was easy to get a comfy fit with the waist adjusters at both sides, and I think you could easily go up or down an inch in the waist and not need to get new pants, plus there are belt loops. Ventilation zips on the inner thigh mean that you can keep cool when you’re exerting yourself, although my sledging didn’t get crazy enough to need them, but I expect I will when I have a ski lesson! They have a relaxed fit to them so they’re not tight on the legs, although they are a bit long on me when I’m wearing walking boots with snowboard or ski boots that have a thicker sole they’d be perfect (I’m 5’3 for reference)

Lastly although there are all sorts of styles available I really liked the subtle animal print of these as they’re not in your face but are far more exciting than a plain black pair! I wore my Tresspass coat whilst I was out there and the combination of these trousers and that coat kept me warm and dry!

Trespass are currently running a charity art project called Snowcase at the moment and are auctioning off unique custom designed ski helmets by 13 artists from around the UK to support a number of different charities, check out the full details here.

I was provided with a pair of snow pants for this review. All words and opinions are my own.
