Athena has been sporting two lovely new dresses this week from Petit Bateau, plus there is a chance for one of my readers to win a whopping £50 voucher to spend on their gorgeous website. It’s actually a joy to browse through, all nautical themed and full of gorgeous items! One of Athenas very first cardigans was from Petit Bateau and it’s tucked safely away in the box of things I am keeping for prosperity, a gorgeous little hooded knit, it seems almost doll-sized when I compare it to her now!
Firstly the short sleeved dress in milleraies cotton, a gorgeously soft dress with coloured poppers down the front for easy changing and an elasticated waist, which really helps when she’s crawling about as she doesn’t kneel on the skirt! It comes in red, green and blue but I thought red was a nice bright choice to go for!
The other gorgeous dress I chose was the Bodysuit dress in flower print. This is perfect for the current weather, it’s a sleeveless vest with a long skirt in one. The skirt is attached A-line style above the waist, so you can pop on a pair of leggings or tights underneath really easily and add a cardi for cooler weather. The vest part is a sweet pink gingham, and fits round a cloth nappy with ease. It is so hard to get a good snap of her just standing still these days, hence the variety of action shots, but hopefully you get the picture!
I’ve washed both items now and they’ve come out of the machine with no shrinking or bobbling and are just as soft. I will say though that the sizing seems to be coming up smaller than most of the other 12-18month items in Athena’s wardrobe, but as she only went into this size 6 or so weeks ago she’s still got some room to grow. There is a sizing chart link next to all items on the website though so you can check out exact sizes for yourself.
So, for your chance to win £50 to spend on the Petit Bateau website just enter below! The competition ends on 3/7/14.

I was sent these two dresses to review, all opinions and words are my own.
I can’t believe how big she’s getting! The second dress is gorgeous 🙂
