At Christmas I absolutely love giving photo calendars as gifts, because it’s something that will be used daily, and is a lovely way to remind the recipient of what you all look like if you don’t see them often, especially important in recent years! We send them to grand parents, aunts and uncles and sometimes god parents too. I’ve made a personalised photo calendars with Asda Photo this year, who currently have 15% off all calendars, with the discount calculated at checkout.

As well as calendars Asda Photo has a whole range of items that make perfect gifts, from personalised dog leads to snow globes, tote bags to towels! You can personalise names, colours and photos to make a one of a kind gift for anyone! They also have a digital service where you can transfer VHS tapes to DVDs and USB and slide and photo scanning, which could be really nice ways to re-discover old and almost forgotten images and home movies!
I ordered two different types of calendar, wall calendars which are a3 in size when fully open, so each photo page is A4. I also ordered some ‘Kitchen’ calendars, which are smaller in size, and may be suitable for smaller families, they make perfect gifts for Grandma! There are also desktop calendars available which are smaller and stand upright on their own.
The design and ordering process was really easy. You can import images from your computer/photo, Facebook, Instagram, Google Drive and Dropbox, so wherever your images are you can add them easily. There are different layouts available so you could choose to display a few photos for one month, and you can choose the colour of the background too. You can save your projects and come back to them, add text to images and even add images to specific dates of the calendar – like birthdays! You also have the option to add national events in (and as we were sending to a grandparent in Scotland we could include the Scottish Bank holidays for them!)
The calendars arrived within a week and I was impressed with the quality, strong thick pages that are easy to write on, and should withstand being flicked forwards and backwards throughout the year.
Check out all the personalised gift options from Asda Photo as you’ll be able to find something for every recipient!
