What the Baby wore: the Sleepsuit edition

Today’s ‘What the Baby wore’ post is all about a few current favourite sleepsuits for Arlo. I am pretty sad Athena doesn’t wear them anymore as they make babies look so much younger but at least I’ve still got one little person in them!

First up is this gorgeous rabbit print sleepsuit that was Athenas, then went to Norfolk for our friends daughter to wear (who bought it for Athena in the first place!) and is now back with us for Arlo to wear (though they are due another baby next month so it will go back to them!) It’s a Cath Kidston number, with tiny rabbits all over, and just has poppers between the legs, which is good for my belly sleeper as nothing to dig in!

Secondly is a lovely blue number from Agatha Ruíz de la Prada, courtesy of Little Sunflowers (and check out our previous post featuring some gorgeous clothes from Little Sunflowers in this post too) Again I like it for comfort because it buttons up the legs and the back, and the feet have little elasticated trims at the back to keep them in place. A bold graphic star print on the front makes it bold in its simplicity! Excuse the photo bombing sister in the shot below!

Finally is a romper I got for Arlo in the Boots Mini Club sale after last Christmas, when he was still a bump in fact! I got it in 6-9 months naively thinking he would be in that size at Christmas when he was 9 months old but no of course he’s not. He went in to 6-9 months at 4 and a half months! So he’s wearing this rather dashing christmas themed suit but I think it will last a little longer as it has no feet so it can be a shortie romper too! A zip up the front means changing is super easy too! Arlo has also been sporting his sisters christmas eve PJs from her first year too as they definitely won’t fit by December either!

  1. Love all three sleepsuits, particularly the last one. I miss the sleepsuit stage, my little boy has the odd one he still fits in for bed, but has nearly outgrown the last of the 18-24 month ones 🙁 xx

  2. They are gorgeous sleepsuits, all babies should wear sleepsuits until 12 months old to keep their babyness. Its good how you are able to pass them to friends and get them back for use again! Thanks for sharing #TT_Thursday

  3. Ahh I love babies in sleepsuits! The Cath Kidston one is super cute and I didn’t even know Agatha Ruiz de la Prada did clothes … I’ve only ever seen the stationary ranges.
Love every that you dressed Arlo in a Christmas suit … Our little one seems to be in Christmas socks a lot!
