Shirt dress: F&F at Tesco | bag: Mischa Barton | Necklace Freedom at Topshop
First outfit type post since I had the baby! hurrah! This is my casual outfit from Sunday, we went to a friends house for a BBQ, and stopped off for a quick stroll along the beach on the way home as it was still warm and sunny! The dress is anew favourite, as it’s really similar to a shirt of Sam’s I like to steal, and when he pointed this out in Tesco during our food shop I think it was in a bid to stop me from wearing his shirt! It worked, and into the trolley it went! I cant find it on the website but I think it was about £14. As we were amongst friends and there was a trampoline involved, my hair remained shoved on my head in a mess for most of the day. We’d also got up earlier than normal to trek round a car boot sale first thing in the morning, so I probably looked more tired than normal!
Initial above knuckle rings & Chunky stone ring, unfortunately I cant find the diamante ring online!
The necklace I’m wearing above was part of a lovely little bundle that I was sent to review and is by Freedom at Topshop. I’m in love with the cute little midi ring with my initial on it too, as well as the chunky gold toned ring with diamante stones! There are some other gorgeous pieces which will be making their debut in outfit posts soon! The silver bracelet on the right below looks chunky but is really lightweight, so doesn’t irritate me, and I think it goes well with the two that I never take off, (the middle one I’ve worn for years and was a present from my godmother, and the silver crescent moon was a leaving present from work when I went on maternity leave) I used to wear 2 other silver bangles before pregnancy made my hands swell and I couldn’t get them on/off, and now I’ve packed them up and not unpacked them since we moved, so I need to do a search for them now they’ll fit again! I’m not happy till I jangle! The gold version of the bracelet is here, and is reduced!
Some snaps below from the BBQ…
I’m kind of glad this weekend is a bit gloomier than last! Everyone in my family will be much happier! I’m posting this so early because I couldn’t go back to sleep after a horrific work related dream where I had to attack an old (Evil) lady with crockery and a fire extinguisher. Such an odd dream.
Happy weekend 🙂
Your dress is lovely, I do love a good shirt dress. I am dreadful at remembering to wear jewellery but very rarely buy any. Had a total of zero bbqs this summer, must remedy this x
Lovely outfit. The jewellery is cute too, I like the ‘L’ ring and the chunky stone ring. Really suits you! Bet you are enjoying being able to wear all of your old wardrobe again!
