Baby Loves: Snugrugs Sheepskin

Last week I bought myself a new (to me!) buggy, as a consolation present for losing a house we really wanted to buy! I know this makes no sense whatsoever but I needed a reason to justify the purchase! This will also be an Arlo-only buggy, one he doesn’t have to share with his sister, plus I’m fairly certain that Athena is too heavy for it! Anyway, when I was offered the chance to try out and review a Sheepskin buggy liner I said ‘Yes Please’ and as it arrived a couple of days before the buggy we had it as an impromptu rug in the living room!

The liner is from Snug Rugs who not only sell liners for prams and baby carriers (genius!) but also rugs, blankets, footwear and lots more. Sheepskin has temperature regulating properties, so it’s absolutely fine to use it in the summer as well as the winter. Arlo is very much used to being worn in a sling and has never fallen asleep in a buggy since he outgrew the lie-flat carry cot a month or so ago! For his first sheepskin adorned outing I took him to a house viewing a ten minute walk away, and he’d fallen asleep within five minutes! I had to leave him with the estate agent outside whilst I had a look round!

The liner has pre-cut slits for the shoulder straps (at three different heights) and two for the crotch strap too, along with the sides being shaped so that the waist straps can fit round and buckle up easily. It will fit almost any type of buggy I would think and would also work well laid flat in a carry cot or moses basket (If you do this you need to stop once baby can roll over)

The fleece is nice and deep, between 4 to 6cm and you can also machine wash the liner should you need to. I like that it can be used as a rug once you no longer need to use it in a buggy! The strap slits are not noticeable at all once it’s laid flat. It’s definitely staying put in the buggy, and I’d recommend it to anyone with a baby!

I was sent this item for the purposes of this review, all words and opinions are my own.
