Brightons Best: Posh Totty Designs

posh totty designs brightonOn Thursday I was lucky enough to be invited along to the Posh Totty ‘posh party’ & what a party it was! Cocktails in mason jars with stripy straws, tasty treats both savoury and sweet and jewellery so gorgeous I didn’t know where to start looking first. On top of that a stylish shop, clean simple and well laid out with a passionate team of clearly talented people to chat to. The perfect Thursday night.   posh totty designs brighton

Posh Totty started in 2004 and have recently opened their new premises on Sydney Street in the North Laine. All their jewellery is hand crafted in Brighton and made to order. You can find out about the back story here (and the origins of the name!) There are so many gorgeous things too choose from, catering for children and men too. Styles are available in silver, gold and rose gold which I love! When I designed my wedding ring I added rose gold to the detailing because I love it that much!

Personalisation is the name of the game at Posh Totty, there’s no limit to what they’ll engrave. Names of loved ones, dates, words that have special meanings… almost everything they sell can be personalised with tiny little hand stamped letters. Because of their generosity I can personally speak about how lovely their jewellery is because I was given a necklace with two silver rings on it stamped ‘Athena’ & ‘Arlo’. I tell you now I almost did a cry on the way back to the station! I love how the rings make a tiny little jingle as they touch each other when I move, reminding me they’re there, reminding me of my babies.

As if the necklace wasn’t generous enough I was also given a stunning notebook with my name stamped on in gold, it is so perfect that I am scared to write in it, plus a lovely candle (which I’ve not burnt yet but if it anything like the lovely smells wafting around at the event then it will be gorgeous!) plus a card from Lola Hoad design which I think will end up on the wall in the nursery!

I absolutely adore the scalloped styles they do too, and I think a scalloped bar bracelet is at the top of my list, I just need to decide what to have stamped on it! As well as the amazing array of jewellery to choose from there is homeware, stationery, all sorts for children such as crockery and school bits, candle holders and wall stickers and SO MUCH MORE online!

If something catches your eye on the website then please do use the discount code BELLE15 to get yourself a 15% discount, the code is valid until 22.9.15 too so you can always make an early start on your christmas list! There are some great ideas for presents for gents too, as well as some amazing homeware!
