I’ve got the lurgy (aka a cold, I just like to be dramatic) so it’s a short post from me as it’s almost 8pm and therefore time for bed! This past week was half term for us here down south, though we do have another day off tomorrow for an ‘insect’ day as Athena and most of her classmates call it. Sam turned 30 last weekend, and we celebrated by heading to Kent for a night in a hotel, where Sam’s mum met us too. We spent his birthday on a steam train which took us to meet some PJ Masks characters (which was a huge it with the kids) PLUS it snowed a bit!
On Monday we spent a lovely day at Leeds Castle, which I’ve not been to since well before I had kids but is so nice to spend a day at, plus the tickets Granny bought us last a whole year, so we will be going back for sure! Not only is there a gorgeous castle but a Maze, a live birs of prey demonstration, adventure playgrounds and lovely gardens to stroll round.
We had a couple of ‘down days’ where we hung out at home, made slime, did some reading and napping and then boom, I woke up today with vicious cold, the one where you can’t be too far from a box of tissues! Our weekly vlog is below in case you fancy a watch!
