Interiors: A Dream Home Office

1st May 20192nd May 2019

I’ve got a bit of a procrastination problem when I’m working from home, I find it easier to concentrate during the evening rather than during the day for some reason! During the day I find myself doing non-work related things from my to do list instead of my work to-do-list! Thankfully due to the nature… Read More

A gorgeous little wooden lodge in the grounds of @YHAofficial Canterbury. It was really cosy and so much fun, a double bunk for Sam and I and single bunks for the kids. I couldn't believe how peaceful it was, the perfect base to explore Canterbury from! We had an ensuite shower room and a fridge, kettle and microwave but of course we had all the facilities available in the main building too! With locations all over the UK it's definitely worth checking out a YHA for family-friendly affordable places to stay! #LiveMoreYHA [Our accommodation at YHA Canterbury was received in exchange for a review]

It was our first visit and it won't be our last, we fell in love with the cobbled streets, wonky buildings and all the history! The Cathedral was majestic, Westgate towers a little spooky and the riverside walk so peaceful. The festive lights were on, the Christmas market in full swing and it all looked pretty magical! We stayed with @yhaofficial in Frodo Lodge which was super cosy and perfect to chill out in after a hard days exploring. I'll pop a link in stories so you can read my blog post and find out more about what we got up to and our lodge! Also swipe to the end to see Arlo's Nutcracker impression 🤣 #LiveMoreYHA [Our accommodation at YHA Canterbury was received in exchange for a review]

Instagram post 2185167833235154170_13537162 Can we talk about Christmas gifts? We are more or less sorted for the kids gifts, we don't go OTT anyway and between the books, clothes and games we've got them they're pretty much sorted (unless their letters to Santa throw a curve ball!) but we're a bit stick for our own parents. I make a photo calendar every year but we want to give a nice gift that is either really useful and/or home made... but not food as things need to be posted! Suggestions? .

Instagram post 2184446737426856028_13537162 This kid has been a terror this weekend. Seriously exasperating at times 😭 He has a cold but surely that's not a good enough reason to be a complete bugger at all times?! Maybe it is when you're four? Whatever it is I'm kinda glad tomorrow is a school day 🤣
How was your weekend? 📷 Athena 😍
