Review: Green People’s Baby Hamper

Today I have another wonderful product from Green People to tell you about. This one would make a perfect Christmas gift for any new babies or if you know any pregnant ladies perhaps pick it up for a baby shower gift whilst it has an amazing £8.99 off! It’s so important to new mums to use natural products with no nasties (parabens, CLCs etc) on their babies skin, so the Green People products are perfect for this!

You get 4 products all contained in a lovely natural wicker basket, plus an organic cotton bib. I’m now using the basket to store Athena’s bibs and muslins in on our kitchen table to keep them tidy!

The Rescue Balm would be great for new mums suffering with sore nipples from breastfeeding, but we’ve been using it on the dry skin behind Athena’s ears and her face after washing (Weaning is messy!) and on my cuticles actually too. The Soothing baby oil we’ve not used just yet as I’m trying to use something else up first but it feels silky and will be good for baby massage, and to use on cradle cap (better than me picking bits off for certain!) The Baby Wash and Shampoo is also unscented, and leaves her skin (and mine as we bathe together!) soft, i’m happy to use this on her face and in all those delicate rolls which get a bit grimy now she’s eating real food! Finally the Chamomile Nappy baby balm we’ve used a couple of times now as I’ve noticed some redness in the nappy area for the first time ever, so I’ve decanted a little of this into a separate container for the changing bag so we can use it when we’re out and about too, it has a very faint scent, not over powering at all and has reduced the redness and hopefully the soreness, I really wish she could tell me when things hurt!

The Hamper normally retails at £36.99 but today only you can buy it for £28, saving you £8.99! Take a look at what Sue from Green People thinks about it, or buy it here! Also, follow the #GP12Days hash tag on twitter for all the daily deals!

Green People products are not tested on animals and never contain: Sodium lauryl/laureth sulphate, parabens, lanolin, phthalates, propylene glycol, alcohol (ethyl alcohol, ethanol), harsh foaming agents, irritating emulsifiers, synthetic fragrances, PABA-sunscreen, colourants, petrochemicals, urea, DEA, TEA or PEGs. I was kindly sent the hamper for review but all opinions are my own.
