Nails: Sally Hanson Fairy Teal (a gift from a blue haired beauty)Necklace: made by Sian, it is an awesome telescope THAT WORKS!! The top was part bought with credit from the oasap blogger program. Its a gorgeous silky material, with little turns up at the sleeve cuffs. It hangs a little longer than this, but I wore it tucked up into an elasticated belt for a bit more shape.
This is what I wore on Saturday for doing a fair bit of street style snapping (and videoing!!). I was out and about with TK Maxx attempting to find some of Brighton’s fashionable and stylish inhabitants (and visitors!) Most of the population were sheltering under brollies for the day, which made it a little difficult trying to get people to stop and chat but we got to talk to lots of stunners! I only snapped a few i-phone snaps, and left the ‘real’ photography to Jacob, so once they’re ready and up on the facebook page/website I’ll share them with you, as well as the sure to be awkward video of my yakking about what I wear and how I shop!

These two hadn’t found any vintage shops and were about to head home, so I sent them in right direction!

Amazingly this girls HUSBAND made her dress, every item she wore coordinated PERFECTLY. she was lovely.
The experience has made me think twice about street style snapping, after the first few people I asked it wasn’t as daunting, so I reckon if I can rope someone into coming out with me it might be something I do again. When it’s not raining.
Brave enough to ask a total stranger to pose for a camera? Ever been stopped by an admirer?

  1. I considered street-style snapping a while ago but thought my photography is a bit pants so kind of dismissed it. I don’t like approaching people anyway so maybe it’s just not for me.

  2. I love this post! I live near Brighton and I always find the most fashionable people there-I think I might do some street-style photography,I’ll have to wait and see! xx

  3. You live in one stylish city my dear! I love each and every outfit that the people in your photos wear, and your own as well. Also, I want a telescope that works too. Can’t wait for the next post that will include street style snaps!

  4. I love seeing street style posts, but would be waay to chicken to ask to take photos of people! Sometimes I wish I did though since some people were the best outfits ever! And my memory sucks so I can’t remember them.

    Lisamello xx

  5. I LOVE looking at other people’s outfits, so inspiring that they can look so cool just on a rainy morning in town! Your style is awesome too, looking forward to reading more. Plus you have given me a major craving to visit Brighton again!
